This version of The Stand was taken off the market by Stephen King when he released his "unedited" version in the early 90's. This version continues to become scarce, especially since it's been out-of-print for over a decade. Rarely seen after 25 years in circulation.

Although a used copy, this is a very nice edition. Cover and spine are still glossy (no scuffing or real wear to speak of), and the spine is almost intact. I rarely see a copy in this shape as it is 34 years old as I write this. This is a 37th printing, and the picture scan is of the actual book.
