Postage & handling is applied during checkout. Costs begin at $4.95 with a maximum of $10 for any size order.
All orders are shipped via USPS Media Mail and should arrive 7-14 days upon shipping from our warehouse. Please note that according to the USPS busy times for USPS Media Mail can be as long as 30 days. However this is not common.
PRIORITY, OVERNIGHT, and EXPRESS SHIPPING:
We offer USPS and UPS express services if needed.
If you need an order immediately, place your order, select the check / money order for payment (you will not be billed) and enter into the Memo field: PLEASE SEND BY (service needed) AND INVOICE ME and then complete your order. Please contact administration for any additional questions.
We do not use the FEXEX tracking option that you see listed. It is a part of the operation system we have - and unfortunately we cannot remove it. We don't use FexEx and this is just a tracking module for their company only. Sorry for any confusion.
SHIPPING PRICES: Shipping Prices as you check out are for US domestic orders. There are additional charges to ship your items to your country. We will apply postage paid in your order and invoice you via PayPal for any additional shipping. For foreign orders we only charge shipping to help keep your cost down. The Overlook pays for the handling charges to help with your orders.
SHIPPING METHOD: For safety concerns, we ONLY ship by USPS Priority Mail outside the US. Priority Mail is delivered in a timely fashion and your order is secure and trackable (for countries that participate in tracking). We will not ship by Economy Mail due to damage issues we've experienced with issues in the past.

We are a specialized bookstore that offers unique items in the genre of the fantastic. Many items we offer are not returnable because the manufacturers / publishers we offer are specialized and they do not offer a return policy for their unique items.
Items are sold on a non-returnable basis unless there is a damaged shipment, and in that case we replace the item or give a refund if the item is not available.
If you've received a duplicate item, as in you were given a gift, etc., we would accept the return and you can have store credit. The customer pays for return postage / insurance / tracking and it has to be received in the same condition as we received, otherwise the item will be returned back to you.
If you choose to cancel an order that is no fault of our own, then the card fee is not refunded. No card fees are refunded to us so we have to pass this along. If the fault is ours, then we will refund the whole order.
In extreme cases you can contact us to discuss further on our contact us page, which is on any page here at our store, but in these cases a 7% restocking fee is applied.
