OVERVIEW: Offspring, the movie, is a conglomeration of both the first novel, Off Season, and the sequel, Offspring. Although the first movie was optioned, it doesn't appear it will ever be produced in the near future. The producers and Jack Ketchum (as screenwriter) were able to bring the original story into this film, Offspring, based on the sequel, to give you a good overview of this family of cannibals living off the coast of Maine. It's pure Ketchum, all the way.
