Scott Ian is one of the founders, and guitarist, for the metal band ANTHRAX!

Scott was a natural choice to be the guest author of our New Stephen King Cover Series for THE STAND. As author of the song, AMONG THE LIVING, which is a tribute to Stephen King's THE STAND we are honored to have his participation for The Stand project. I've always thought this was a great song, especially because of the Stand reference, and now Scott has come full circle in this participation. AMONG THE LIVING is also the name of Anthrax's 1987 album release. You can see a picture of the album here.
